Eve, Mother of Faith
Moses 5:1-2
Women have a significant role in the kingdom of God. The first woman, Eve, demonstrated incredible faith as she labored alongside her husband while pregnant. They were one in their faith in God and relied on Him for their strength.
Eve’s trust in the Lord becomes even more incredible when we consider that she was the first to become a mother. No one was there to tell her what to expect. Yet, Eve learned to rely entirely on the Lord. We all face things that require great faith.
Motherhood is such a sacred experience. The vulnerability and strength of pregnancy are unique to this time of life. When we face our own mortal challenges, the Lord, Jesus Christ, is there to provide understanding, comfort, and strength to endure.
